The goal was to design TravelQuest, a backend management tool to efficiently curate user-generated travel experiences. The earlier system faced delays and inconsistencies in content approval, so this project aimed to streamline the evaluation and categorization process while enabling real-time collaboration. By enhancing these processes, the tool improves content quality and provides users with a reliable platform for sharing travel experiences.
I’m dedicated to creating intuitive tools that simplify travel content management, boost collaboration, and enhance content quality for a smooth user experience.
Design Workflow
The project began with desk research and an in-depth analysis of the existing system’s limitations. I defined stakeholders and use cases, addressing pain points and establishing assumptions to guide the process. Through ideation and iterative design, the final design optimized the approval and categorization workflow, fostering seamless collaboration and improving content quality for a more reliable platform.
What I Would Do With More Time
Conduct usability testing sessions with actual employees to validate the design, identify pain points, and refine the tool based on their feedback.
Introduce features like smart tagging, AI-driven content suggestions, or a dashboard with analytics for tracking user engagement with submitted experiences.
Design integration points with other TravelQuest systems, such as user profiles, booking histories, and feedback loops, to create a seamless workflow for employees.
